I made it through the first chapter of Sarah Palin’s book last night. You’re probably wondering whether I ponied up the 10 bucks at Wal-Mart for the book. The answer is no. A friend of Mrs. Think Tank’s received it as a gift, and she stopped by last night after arriving in town from Dallas. I couldn’t resist.
In short, what I read was terrible. And while it made me laugh, I can’t say I wanted to read much more.
This about sums it up:
I actually watched that video . . . Can I have that 8:22 of my life back, now?
Am I the only one who was waiting for one of them to say, “I just like her because she’s HAWT”???
“We need to get the polar bears off the endangered list so we can drill there.”
What??
For me, that statement pretty much sums up the “logic” of the right.
Thanks for the share, Blake.
SHOUT OUT. Way to be, Fat Cat.
I have heard you count as many as 30 “I”’s on a single page!
I THIS and I THAT, I DID, I SAID, I CAN’T, I WILL, I am an ego maniac.
Sarah Palin/Fabio 2012!
I implore all folks to go to youtube and type in “How Obama Got Elected.”
The fact is, half of the electorate on both sides of the aisle don’t know the answers to a wide array of questions, yet we still give them the right to vote. It was Ann Coulter who said that there ought to be a test before people are allowed to vote.
We conservatives have always been up for that. Then perhaps ACORN could add an educational wing to their offices before picking up homeless people and crackheads to vote for a President the rest of us have to put up with.
As far as Sarah Palin is concerned, liberals and establishment Republicans like David Brooks hardly carry opinions strong enough to combat the popularity of someone so Reaganesque as Sarah Palin is. Everything said today about Sarah Palin was said about Ronald Reagan when he lost the primary to Gerald Ford in 1976.
Ronald Reagan and Sarah Palin never attended Ivy League Schools. Both were called stupid. Both never traveled outside of the country very many times. Both became politically active by sheer love of their country and for the conservative values needed to shape this country. Neither one belonged to an elite nor did either one of them seek the approval of liberals or the MSM.
Liberals have three years of tanking Obama ratings and rising unemployment to come up with new material on Sarah Palin. It will be comedic to see what they try and hit us with, but it won’t matter. Palin is developing her base now from the bottom-up and has the time and money now to do it.
In a nutshell, liberals continue to say that she’s such a dope. But you were all duped by the dope. And it’s fun to watch the frantic scrambling.
Ask any Alaskan and they will tell you that the quitter from Wasilla is such a fake. She whipped this book out (spent one month in sunny California) –in comparison, books written by Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, even Barrack Obama took YEARS–I guess she just didn’t have any words of wisdom to offer. This book is all about a pitbull and her anger–a chance to settle the score or get even, even if she can only do it by stretching the truth. I doubt that any independent could read this book and decide that Sarah Palin should get their vote in 2012. Instead, they would wonder how this person with a degree in journalism could ever graduate from any college in this country–she rambles on and on like a 5th grader and has so much trouble remembering what is true and what is not. Sarah Palin certainly needs help for her mental health problems. This book is damaging to her reputation–but then I guess she will blame all the lies on Meg Stapleton or Lynn Vincent.
