Beginning at 6:00 p.m. tonight I’ll be a part of a “celebrity” panel that includes Heather Crawford of KATV, Jancey Sheets of KARK, Bill Vickery of The Sunday Buzz on 103.7FM, and Jennifer Christman of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that will name chicken wings prepared by the chef.

Yes, you read that right.

Celebrity Wing Panel Kick Off Tonight

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Nov. 4, 2009) — Forty Two, the on-site, full service restaurant at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center will open for Monday Night Football fans beginning on Monday, Nov. 9, from 5:30 p.m. until 11 p.m. or game’s end.

Forty Two will transform into a lounge-like atmosphere each Monday evening through the post-season offering comfortable seating, two flat screen TVs, a specialty “Happy Hour” menu and full bar.  The Happy Hour menu will include Forty Two bratwurst, tempura oysters, fried pickles, mini sliders and an array of gourmet meats and cheeses.  The full bar will feature drink specials such as domestic beer, $2; mixed drinks, $5; and wine, $5.

To kick off the inaugural Monday Night Football event, Forty Two will host a “Name Your Wing” event at 6 p.m.  Executive Chef Jacob Peck will present a variety of gourmet chicken wings to a panel of celebrity judges: Jennifer Christman, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s SPIN CYCLE; Heather Crawford, KATV; Blake Rutherford, blakesthinktank.com; Jancey Sheats, KARK 4 and Bill Vickery, The Sunday Buzz.  One lucky football fan will be randomly chosen to complete the panel of “Name Your Wing” judges. Each judge will choose their favorite wing for naming rights in the “Happy Hour” menu.  Fans will receive a complimentary gourmet wing of the judges’ choice.
