On Wednesday, August 5th, the Central Arkansas Labor Council will host a town hall with U.S. Rep. Vic Snyder on the Employee Free Choice Act and health care reform. The event will be held at IAM DL 156, 7600 Enmar Drive in Little Rock at 7:00 p.m.
In case you’ve been hiding under a freaking bus today, similar town hall meetings have been disrupted by these TEA-baggers, an effort that was subsequently praised by House majority leader John Boehner.
I’m not sure what Arkansas TEA-bagger-in-chief and U.S. Senate candidate, Tom Cox, has in mind for this particular town hall. Maybe he’ll write in to The Think Tank and let us know.
Vic forgot to renew his campaign’s old domain name registration, but maybe he’ll get lucky. vicsnyder.com was owned by cybersquatters, but it expired on July 23rd. Maybe he can get a reservation on it when it reopens, unless someone else has one.
“tea baggers” is that a term used for anyone that thinks the government has done a poor job in the last few years when they rushed into something. Iraqi War and bailouts are just two. I guess everyone should just sit back and not voice their opinions until after they have taken a screwed up system and made it worse.
