The Think Tank is hearing that an impressive co-host committe has signed on for Senator Blanche Lincoln’s re-election campaign kick off reception Saturday, March 14 at the Peabody featuring Vice President Joe Biden.
Among the notable co-hosts include: University of Arkansas Trustee Ben Hyneman; Philanthropist Judy Tenenbaum; Dillard brothers Bill and Alex and their wives, Mandy and Cannell; Murphy Oil’s Madison Murphy; First Security Bank’s Reynie Rutledge, close friend of Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe (who’s also hosting with First Lady Ginger Beebe) and brother in law of Jim Lindsey, who is rumored to have encouraged former U of A Board chairman and Marianna farmer Stanley Reed to run against Senator Lincoln; Batesville’s Raye and Doyle Rogers; AT’&T’s Ed Drilling and his wife, Cinde; Cindy and Chip Murphy; Ed Coulter, the chancellor at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home and his wife, Lucretia; Donna and Mack McLarty; Stephens Inc’s Curt Bradbury and his wife, Chucki and Mark and Laura Doramus; Arkansas Children’s Hospital board chair Pat McClelland and her husband, Jim; Lynn and George O’Connor, who hosted a gathering at their home for President George W. Bush; Political Animals Club chairman Steve Ronnel and his wife, Jennifer; Banker George Gleason and his wife, Linda; Dr. Bobby Roberts, director of the Central Arkansas Library System; Wal-Mart’s Leslie Dach; Entergy’s Hugh McDonald and Kay Kelley Arnold; and Tyson’s Archie Schaffer.
