All eyes appear to be focused on Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine as Sen. Barack Obama’s running mate.  This morning on “Morning Joe” Mark Murray of MSNBC speculated that Kaine was at the very top of Obama’s short list, which is also rumored to include Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh and Delaware Sen. Joe Biden.  The Washington Post has a story out today with the headline, “Kaine in ‘Serious’ Talks With Obama.”  On FOX News Sunday, New York Times columnist William Kristol speculated that Obama has already settled on Kaine and an announcement could be made as early as Monday, August 4th.
